My girlfriends and I went to Soyka during Miami Spice month. Daniel was out server and he did a wonderful job at taking care of us. The food came out all at once, our glasses were continuously refilled without having to ask for it, and everything tasted good for the price. Great atmosphere, low lighting, background music was low enough that we could still hear ourselves talk. Soyka is great for a group gathering or romantic date. We all look forward to going back for more!

SOYKA! This is truly my favorite restaurant, hang-out and the place to meet friends. The prices are extremely reasonable, the food and service are always top notch. A very unusal atmosphere which feels more like NY than Miami and they are the pioneer in the neighborhood to which we are all thankful. This is also one of the most diversed crowds I have ever scene. No matter who you are, no matter how you are dressed this is the place that will make you most comfortable. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great food, impectable service, unusual atmosphere and just want to go out to have a fun time without any pretense

This place gets worse with each visit. Loud obnoxious waiters telling you how little they make (is that MY problem?)Mediocre food, LOUD room (BAD acoustics) It's no surprise that the Coconut Grove location failed: they would never put up with the crap that the uninformed Morningside crowd would!

here's some good advice. Stay home.the noise, surly waiters, lousy food really gets on your nerves. How they can charge such prices for this "food" is mind bogling.

The best you can say about Soyka is that you can expect the unexpected. After a lousy meal served by a polite waiter, you return for a fairly good meal served by the devil's son with an attitude from Hell. All of this goes on while the owner is busy schmoozing with his friends! The prices are too high for such uneven service and average, at best, food. No wonder why their other location in the Grove failed.
