Lan Pan-Asian Cafe specializes in cuisine from Southeast Asia primarily from China, Japan, Thailand and Korea. We offer specialities not seen on most menus, choosing to challenge our diners with delicious and exotic flavors. Our menu is extremely broad and allows the diner to taste many different flavors at one sitting at affordable prices. Lan has been featured in and reviewed by many South Florida publications and was named one of top ten restaurants of 1999 by the Miami Herald.

Lan's Yellow Curry Vermicelli was almost [sickeningly] sweet. The coconut milk was too thick and creamy, making the entire dish looked and tasted greasy. The sushi and potstickers were acceptable. The hostess could be curt and unfriendly, but the server was nice enough. They could be less courteous during busy time, but at least they still managed to provide average service. The place was pleasant and inviting for an afternoon lunch, but I wouldn't recommend it for group dining.

There was a great selection of food. It's a bit more affordable if you go to restaurant.com and buy a gift certificate because you'll easily spend at least $35 when ordering for two. I highly recommend the calamari and the passion fruit creme brulee. Even though our waitress was the only un-friendly part of the staff, we still had a great experience.

This is my new favorite restaurant! The Beef Tarake was the best asian-inspired dish I've ever had.

The food at Lan is some of the best Asian food in Miami. Try the Miami Heats roll, it's really good.
